The Veolia Mulwaree Trust has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting local community sport, providing a generous $4,000 grant to the Southern Tablelands Football Association to assist with the purchase of new goal posts at Cookbundoon Sporting Fields.
The funding allowed the Association to replace an ageing and no longer fit-for-purpose set of goals, significantly improving safety, functionality, and the overall playing experience for players, officials, and spectators across the region.
The new goal posts have now been installed on Field 1 at Cookbundoon and are already in use throughout the current football season. The upgraded infrastructure is benefiting hundreds of local participants, from junior grassroots footballers through to senior competitions, while helping ensure Cookbundoon remains a quality venue for football in the Southern Tablelands.
Southern Tablelands Football Association sincerely thanks the Veolia Mulwaree Trust for its continued investment in community infrastructure and local sport. Grants such as this play a vital role in helping regional sporting organisations maintain safe and modern facilities for their members and the wider community.
This support highlights the positive impact community partnerships can have in strengthening grassroots sport and creating better opportunities for participation across the region.
