Opening day of the Southern Tablelands Premier League finally kicked of after a long covid induced off season and defending Champions Goulburn Strikers picked up where they left off last season with a strong 9-1 victory over Crookwell. Strikers have shown they once again will be the team to beat.
Goulburn Workers also singled their intentions to be a contented for the title with an equally impressive victory of Soldiers running away with the match 9-1.
The finally game of the round was the Stags derby and while not one for the purists it was an entertaining match with end to end play, the reunited Stags ’97 running over the Stags FC side 7-5
